2013 Fishing Derby

Well folks…here they are — the official 2013 Lake Tyee Fishing Derby rules! We’re trying something a little different this year. The derby will run all summer long, from May 18 till Labor Day. The lake will be stocked 3 separate times with tagged fish. Only the tagged fish qualify you for a prize. We’re hoping this will give more members a better chance of catching a prize fish. And as the rules state, the sooner you get your license, the longer you’ll be able to fish! Please read the rules carefully and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the office.

So far, no tagged fish have been caught. So don’t forget to get your fishing license from the office. $5.00 per person, or $25 per lot for 6 people. For the recent stocking, the prizes will be $25 for first place, $20 for second and third places, and $15 for fourth and fifth places. Just bring the tag to the office to claim your prize.
